My main goal is to build a relationship with my clients in order to help them make forward, continuing progress.
For children, I offer Child Centered Play Therapy. This allows the child to express themselves
through play in a child friendly and safe environment.
For adolescent and adult clients, I use a CBT and person centered approach. CBT is an evidence based approach
that works to create healthy mental states by changing negative thoughts, feelings, and behaviors.
Life can get messy and complicated. We all need support during those difficult phases. I can help you with that.
Are you struggling to find solutions to your most pressing concerns? Do you find it difficult to communicate with others? Are you feeling bullied, depressed, angry, frustrated, or misunderstood? Are you struggling with understanding your or a family member's sexual identity? Have you experienced physical or verbal abuse and find the trauma is overwhelming you? Have you experienced thoughts of suicide? If any of these questions resonate with you, then let's chat a bit. It is my goal to help you identify and achieve yours!
It is my belief that one of the most courageous decisions a person can make along their journey through life, is to allow themselves to be vulnerable enough to ask for help from time to time. This is especially true when they find themselves stuck in a situation that leaves them feeling defeated or in some cases as, “less than”.
I also believe that we each hold the answers to our problems within ourselves, but that we occasionally need a little help finding a way to uncover those answers. I work with individuals, couples, and families. I also work with active-duty military, veterans, Law Enforcement, members of the LGBTQIA+ community, and individuals facing domestic violence issues.
My specialty is trauma, especially childhood trauma, and clients that are ready to take the journey of healing are my ideal clients. If you have heard the story of the man that fell into a hole, then you will know what I mean when I say I want to be "Joe" that jumps into the hole with his friend and walks with him on the way out of the hole. Other clients I enjoy helping include children, families, and those needing
help figuring out who they are at the core.
My approach to therapy uses both Bowen and Narrative therapy modalities. Bowen is about inter-generational processes that pass down through the generations such
as how to raise children, how to handle money, taboo subjects, and other thoughts and beliefs. On the other hand, narrative therapy is about collaborating to re-write the
story of your experience.
I have been loved. I have been helped. By so many others. How can I keep the love and help inside and not give it out?
I invite you to reach out to me and find out if we are a fit to walk together through your mental health journey.
Navigating the stress of contemporary life can be overwhelming, especially when anxiety, trauma, or self-doubt get in the way. If you feel stuck in your thoughts, overwhelmed by life transitions, or unsure of how to navigate relationships, you’re not alone. I’m here to help you work through those challenges in a way that feels supportive, empowering, and, most importantly, real.
I’m dedicated to supporting teens, college students, and young adults who are navigating the stress of contemporary life, particularly those dealing with anxiety, trauma, life transitions, and relationship challenges. I especially enjoy working with young women as they explore who they are and develop a stronger sense of self—helping them break free from unhelpful thought patterns, build confidence, and embrace their individuality with clarity and self-trust.
Growing up in a home filled with strong women, I developed a deep passion for supporting and uplifting other women. I've always been drawn to the stories, struggles, and resilience that come with the female experience. Creating a space where women feel safe, heard, and truly understood is something I deeply value. It’s a privilege to sit with women in their most vulnerable moments, helping them process their experiences, reclaim their confidence, and step into a life that feels authentic and fulfilling.
My approach is person-centered, meaning I focus on understanding and supporting you as a whole person, tailoring therapy to meet your unique needs and goals. I believe in meeting you exactly where you are, offering a compassionate space to explore your feelings, challenges, and strengths. I encourage clients to give themselves grace and compassion as they begin to discover and value themselves as always worthy, ever-growing, and ever-changing humans.
I integrate Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), a strengths-based perspective, and mindfulness to help you regulate emotions, shift unhelpful thought patterns, and create a life that feels meaningful and aligned with who you are. With a bright, empathetic energy, I strive to create a space where you can be open, be heard, and start making real changes—without judgment or pressure.
Therapy isn’t about “fixing” you—it’s about helping you reconnect with yourself, unlearn the patterns that hold you back, and step into the life you want. If that sounds like the kind of support you’re looking for, I’d love to connect.
